Happy Chocolates is an award-winning artisan chocolate company created by Susie Norris, a pastry chef, educator, and food-focused traveler. Susie taught baking at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts and has run Happy Chocolates for over a decade. Her books are CHOCOLATE BLISS (Penguin Random House, 2008), HAND-CRAFTED CANDY BARS (with Susan Heeger, Chronicle Books, 2013), and A BAKER'S PASSPORT (Amazon, February 2019), based on her culinary travel blog FoodMarketGypsy.com, winner of the IACP Digital Media Award.
Prior to her work in the food business, Susie was an executive at NBC, CBS, Disney/ABC and other networks where she supervised television writing and production. She has a B.A. in English Literature from Boston College and certificates in professional baking and chocolate work. She has recently written for The University of Southern California and Larchmont Charter School.
